　　Position Description:

　　Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for an Aerospace Engineer position. The Aerospace Engineer will provide technical support to a U.S. Space Force satellite constellation development contract. This position requires a talented Aerospace Engineer that can work with a multi-disciplined team to perform engineering analysis to support all phases of the system lifecycle, including requirements development, design, development, and test and evaluation. The engineer will be required to assist the team with requirements definition; Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MSandA); Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL); simulations; development; integration activities; and operations. This effort will entail support to develop 2D and 3D tracking algorithms utilizing space-based thermal imaging systems as well as providing physics-based modeling of end-to-end mission, implementation of multiple modeling scenarios that include, but not limited to Monte Carlo controlled scenario-based analysis of the satellite designs ability to meet requirements.

　　Required Skills:

　　Bachelors degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, or relevant technical field with 5+ years direct experience on DoD programs.

　　US Citizen with a current DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

　　Ability to work in a dynamic environment.

　　Self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.

　　Excellent organizational skills.

　　Required Experience:

　　Proven expertise in one or more of the following areas: Aerodynamics; Orbital Dynamics, MSandA; Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC); and HWIL simulations.

　　Direct experience with modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and STK.

　　Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Agile software development principles and practices.

　　Experience with Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.

　　Experience creating and managing design and development documentation.

　　Desired Qualifications:

　　Experience with Python and/or C++.

　　Experience with satellite design and development programs
