Responsible for assignedproduct management, including selecting product vendors, purchasing,pricing, monitoring inventory, and promoting assigned products. Contactcustomers regarding market fluctuations and trends. Initiate inquiries,sales, and promotions for product needs to customer. Coordinates andmaximizes customer inventory. Communicate customer service requirementsto location\'s customer service representatives. Coordinate customerdeliveries with shipping personnel. At some locations, may performfreight/trucking specialist responsibilities. Contact vendor asnecessary regarding products relative to customer\'s questions orconcerns. Assist outside sales staff and product managers. Assist indeveloping and executing marketing programs, promotions, and new productresearch. Provide lead role to sales support staff. Demonstrate strongcommitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuousprocess improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities asassigned. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: College Degree orequivalent work experience in related job function. Working conditionsare an office environment with minimal physical exertion. PreferredQualifications: Knowledge of building products a plus. Ability tounderstand and apply mathematical calculations and concepts involvingfractions, decimals, percentages, etc. Effective communication skills.Ability to work independently or with teams or groups.
