　　We are looking for a Packaging and Cooling Summer Intern for our Advanced Data Center Development Group to contribute to ongoing projects in the field of advanced power and cooling for high-power accelerated computing solutions. The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, fabricating, and testing advanced power and cooling solutions. 　　What you will be doing:

　　Power and Cooling Design: Assist in the design of power delivery and cooling solutions for NVIDIA servers.

　　Fabrication and Prototyping: Work in the laboratory to fabricate and test power delivery and cooling solutions. Additionally, will Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and refine designs.

　　Experimental Testing: Conduct detailed experiments to characterize the performance of power and cooling solutions in simple benchtop systems, then in functional servers. Additionally, analyze experimental data and contribute to the interpretation of results and optimization of the solutions.

　　Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and observations. Prepare for regular reports and presentations summarizing findings for internal use.

　　Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and researchers. You will participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and potential solutions.

　　What we need to see:

　　Pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

　　Excellent heat transfer and fluid mechanics fundamentals, with some background in power.

　　Solid experimental background, with the ability to design, set-up, and quickly run detailed experiments. Experience with data acquisition systems like LabView is a plus.

　　Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

　　Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　Effective communication and teamwork skills.

　　Ways to stand out from the crowd:

　　Proficiency with CAD software for device design, e.g., Creo or SolidWorks.

　　Basic understanding of server layout and operations.

　　Proficiency with industry-standard computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools such as IcePak or Fluent.
