Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions. The Accounting Specialist will collaborate with other members of the finance department to maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization's financial processes.
Bookkeeping and Record Maintenance:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Accounts Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the reconciliation process.
Expense Management:
Process and verify expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Monitor and control expenses, highlighting areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Maintain organized and well-documented financial records for audits and reviews.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other departments to obtain necessary financial information.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
