Job Description Provide employment services and support(including life skills, job readiness, and job search) to young adults(16-24) Prepare and maintain accurate participant documentation,ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines Assess participant needsand competencies to create individualized education and employment goalsDevelop and strengthen relationships with participants and communitymembers by effectively communicating Ensure regular and timelycommunications of available opportunities; provide coaching to supportgoals and job attainment and retention Maintain familiarity withavailable resources for participants\' varying demographics and needsAssist as needed in program orientation, life skills and job readinessworkshops, and front desk coverage Fully engage in team meetings andtrainings promoting professional development, service effectiveness, andachievement of metrics Initiate community outreach to increasevisibility, enhance program awareness, and create cohesion of serviceswith other community resource organizations Maintain scheduled, regularcontact with participants in a variety of locations to assess jobretention/advancement issues Qualifications A bachelor\'s degree insocial services or related field; minimum two years working with atargeted population is required - experience may be substituted forformal education Ability to develop trust and rapport while maintainingprofessional and productive interactions with a diverse populationExcellent, inclusive written and verbal communication skills Must beable to work occasional flexible or extended hours, including weekendsin an office/community center environment as well as off-site specialevents and career fairs Ability to maintain confidentiality of all formsand other verbal or written information Demonstrated understanding ofthe principles of effective youth-adult partnerships Strongself-motivation: ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiplepriorities Preferred Qualifications: Case Management / CareerDevelopment experience preferred Knowledge and experience in workforcecenter operations and their programs (WIOA, TANF, SNAP, etc.) and/orinterviewing and employment counseling Understanding and awareness ofthe needs of disadvantaged individuals and other persons who facebarriers to employment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google BusinessSuite Additional Information All your information will be keptconfidential according to EEO guidelines.
