  Objective: Provide support in managing the day-to-day operations of the Youth Innovation Center Programming and ensure effective management of resources within the facility.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  Program Support & Development:

  The Youth Services Program Assistant assists the Program Coordinator in the daily operations of the Youth Innovation Center.

  Support in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new programming to cater to the needs of community youth.

  Assist in the tracking and evaluation of program attendance, ensuring data is available for periodic evaluations and reports.

  The Youth Services Program Assistant takes inventory of supplies, restock necessary items, and prepare the space for various events, activities, and programs.

  Center Management & Operations:

  The Youth Services Program Assistant is responsible for the opening and closing procedures of the Youth Innovation Center.

  Ensure the general care and upkeep of the center, maintaining a conducive and welcoming environment for all participants.

  Coordinate and manage inventory for the center, ensuring necessary supplies are in stock and available for programming needs.

  Serve as the key point of contact for the Digital Equity Partnership initiative, coordinating and communicating all relevant activities and updates.

  Prepare and set up the facility for scheduled events, activities, or programs.

  Social Media & Digital Engagement:

  Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and other relevant teams to contribute to social media content.

  Assist in managing and updating the center’s social media profiles, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and in line with the center's objectives and ethos.

  Monitor social media platforms for engagement, feedback, and queries, forwarding necessary communications to the appropriate teams.

  Youth Engagement & Reporting:

  Actively engage in recruiting youth for various programs.

  Assist in the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to funders.

  Participate in team evaluations to assess the effectiveness and relevance of youth programs.

  General Duties:

  Collaborate effectively within the team, ensuring the smooth execution of assigned tasks and projects.

  Attend necessary training sessions and professional development opportunities as directed.

  Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Youth Services and the Program Coordinator.

  Qualifications:

  Associates degree in human services or related field preferred; Minimum requirement: H.S. Diploma / GED.

  At least one year of experience in youth programming.

  Experience in case management and working directly with youth.

  Demonstrable experience in program development and implementation.

  Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  Proficiency in computer and technology applications.

  Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.

  Ability to work harmoniously within a team and relate empathetically to diverse socio-economic and racial/ethnic populations.

  Additional Requirements:

  Eligibility to work in the United States.
