　　Availability of Position:Immediate

　　Schedule:Full Time- Monday through Friday from 10AM to 6PM

　　Part Time - Monday through Friday from 12PM to 6PM (up to 19 hours weekly)Supervises:N/A

　　Reporting Relationship:Social Services Director

　　Salary and Grade:$15.00 per year; Grade 73, Non-Exempt

　　Position Overview:

　　It is the role of the Youth Program Aide to look out for the wellbeing of participating children in corps youth programs as it relates to its after-school program, summer day camp and other youth activities.

　　Responsibilities

　　Description of Position:

　　Work with Youth Program Team in order to assure that children attending programs are served in an appropriate manner.

　　Perform related duties as assigned.

　　Organize and execute activities in the gymnasium and game room.

　　Communicate with parents as needed.

　　Perform first aid tasks as needed

　　In case of another pandemic where children will be out of school but required to do distance education, Youth Program Aide will serve as a tutor-facilitator.

　　Help organize and execute after school program, summer day camp, back to school and Christmas Angel Tree programs.

　　Assist with administrative duties such as statistics and reporting to funders.

　　Qualifications

　　Requirements:

　　High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-3 years of related experience.

　　Microsoft Office—Word, Power Point, Excel; Outlook

　　Valid PA Driver’s License.

　　Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks prior to employment: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 along with renewals every five years.
