Job descriptionThe Youth Engagement Coordinator provides direct support for youth and their families and connects them with direct services that will enable them to thrive. This position engages youth and their families where they are, to offer education and career opportunities for these youth and their families to achieve success by getting involved in service delivery and voicing their trauma in a safe space.

　　REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

　　2+ years' experience in program planning, education, and/or youth outreach2+ years' experience in youth case managementExperience working with youth who have complex needs that may require the involvement of multiple child-serving systems (mental health, developmental disabilities, child welfare, juvenile justice, chemical dependency, special education)Intermediate proficiency with MS Office -- Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointProven ability to interact with a wide variety of audiences.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Demonstrates cultural competency.Ability to build trust quickly.Ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights and weekends.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.ULMS Total Compensation
