If you are a drivenprofessional who embraces our values and drives our standards of excellence,you will achieve success and grow within our organization!What does a day in the life look like?As a Wildlife Service Technician, you will be part of a team ofprofessionals who provides world-class wildlife management services for bothresidential and commercial properties. You will be heroes in your communitiesprotecting people, property, and wildlife. A successful Wildlife ServiceTechnician needs to be motivated, energetic, and creative with outstandingcommunication skills.Your daily activities includeBuild strong relationships with internal and external customersInspect and identify properties for wildlife damage including on roofs, inattics, and in crawlspacesRemove nuisance wildlife from residential and commercial propertiesPerform exclusion work to prevent the reentry of wildlife into homes andbusinessesInstall and service bait stations and exclusion devicesOperate and maintain service vehicle and equipmentIdentify and communicate any safety-related obstacles and lead with asafety-first mindsetYou will thrive in this role ifYou are self-motivated, driven, and enjoy working outdoorsYou do not mind rolling up your sleeves and getting dirtyYou are hands-on and have a basic knowledge of power toolsYou enjoy building relationships and creating a bond with peopleYou have a creative approach to problem-solvingYou hold yourself to high standards.   QualificationsWhat does the work environment look like?We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable ofsafely performing the following job duties:Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacityLifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. occasionallySafely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlWear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires anOSHA-compliant respiratorAbility to work in different types of weather conditionsWhat do you need to be successful?No Experience Required Customer Service, General Labor, or ConstructionExperience is a plus!High School Diploma or equivalent requiredValid drivers license required with a good driving recordAbility to pass a drug screen and background check is requiredAbility to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignmentsand interact with our great customersCritter Control is an Equal Opportunity / Protected Veterans / Individualswith Disabilities Employer
