　　POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATIONThe Instructor III - Martial Arts position is responsible for providing asafe and developmentally appropriate martial arts program for both childrenand adults. This position leads class instruction and/or assists the leadinstructor with classes while maintaining a safe, recreational atmospherefor participants. Recreation staff have the primary responsibility of ensuringthe safety of program participants.

　　Education, Experience, Skills, Formal Training, Licenses, and CertificationsRequired:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDFirst Aid, CPR and AED certification within 30 days of hireBlack belt certificationAt least one (1) year experience teaching martial arts

　　Preferred:3rd degree black belt or higherAny equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, whichwould provide the required knowledge and skills, may be considered.
