Job Summary: Always Best Care Senior Services - Atlanta/Buckhead is seeking a Well Experienced Caregiver to join our team in the College Park, Georgia area. As a part-time individual contributor, the caregiver will work 25 hours per week in the afternoons, providing compassionate and high-quality care to our senior clients. This job is in the healthcare/medical field, with a focus on providing care to seniors in their homes. The caregiver will be responsible for assisting with tasks such as personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $13 to $15 per hour, paid weekly. The caregiver will also have the opportunity for overtime pay, as well as mileage reimbursement for travel between client homes. Responsibilities: • Provide in-home care to senior clients in accordance with their individual care plans • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting • Provide functional and emotional support to clients and their families • Engage in meaningful conversation and provide companionship to clients • Help with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping • Accompany clients to appointments or on outings as needed • Document care provided and report any changes in client's condition to the care coordinator • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA policies • Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude at all times Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver, preferably with seniors • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance • Clean background check and drug screening • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds • Willingness to work with a flexible schedule, including weekends EEOC Statement: Always Best Care Senior Services is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
