At a Glance! Lower Columbia College is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and skilled instructor committed to community college students and their success. This position is responsible for teaching welding courses in multiple processes including stick (SMAW), wire feed (GMAW, FCAW), and tig (GTAW). This position also involves maintenance of program shop equipment and training aides and depending on qualifications, may also include instruction in advanced manufacturing, blueprint reading for welding, and/or fabrication. As full-time faculty, this position will also advise students, participate in curriculum, and program development, participate in professional development, engage in assessment activities, attend faculty and committee meetings, and perform other duties as assigned. *About the Team! *This position will join a team of faculty, staff and administration who are collaborative, innovative, and supportive. Courses are delivered primarily in-person and/or hybrid utilizing LCC's online learning management system to complement the hands-on instruction. Courses are delivered through multiple modalities including online, hybrid, and in-person. The salary range is $70,199 to $92,448 based on education and experience.
