Description: Weld Engineer

　　Will be reviewing and determining parameters for set ups on manual weld cells and robotic welding machines

　　Will be working with programmers on the set up of robotic welders

　　Setting up cells for MIG and resistance welding operations

　　Work with fixturing, fit in gauge

　　Instruct designers on needs for welding fixtures, review designs

　　Designing new specialty consumables for welding production such as electrodes

　　Skills:

　　Welding, Mig, Welding Engineering, Fabrication, Robotic Welding, Resistance Welding, MIG Welding, Manufacturing Engineering, Flux Core, ARC Welding, Stick Welding, TIG Welding

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Must Have:

　　Steel and aluminum welding experience

　　Minimum of 1 year of experience as a weld engineer after degree, OR 3+ years weld engineering experience without a degree

　　Experience with MIG and resistance welding

　　Experience in a manufacturing setting with robotics

　　Nice to Have:

　　Bachelors or associates degree in a weld engineer program (Ohio State or Ferris State)Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
