This is a place where you can make a world of difference.Follow Us on LinkedIn:Essential Functions:* Weld together metal parts, components, or structures; perform detailed welding techniques* Have the ability to weld MIG on stainless steel and mild steel* Have the ability to weld TIG on stainless and mild steel as well as aluminum* File, sand, grind, or polish metal* Burn (cut), trim, or scarf metal objects* Lay out machining, welding or precision assembly projects* Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand* Ability to use a PC and basic hand tools* Ability to read, understand and identify blueprints and materials needed for each job* Ability to identify thread sizing* Must be able to use various measuring devices* Construct patterns or templates for welding projects* Meet quality expectations by examining products or work to verify conformance to specifications and having attention to detail* Understand and follow work instructions as applicable* Comply with standard work practices and SOPs* Segregate nonconforming or suspected nonconforming material real time and notify supervisor* Maintain welding machines or equipment; keep area organized and clean* Complies with all EHS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and proceduresWhile this list is representative of essential job duties, it is not an all-inclusive list of duties required to perform this role.
