Responsibilities: Weld steelcomponents with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineeringdrawings, work orders, and/or verbal instructions. Read, understand andfollow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or workorders. Set up, layout work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts torebuild, fabricate and/or rework parts to a finished product. Inspectand correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications. Assistothers in the fabrication and welding of multi-component parts. Operateforklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch,and other hand tools related to the jobs. Inspect equipment to maintainfunctionality and if any equipment needs repairs notify the supervisor.Any and all duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum High Schoolgraduate or GED. with Welder Certification Preferred. Knowledge of and aminimum of five years of welding experience with heavy equipment partsand service is preferred. Knowledge of bore welding and line boring is aplus. Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and customerservice skills are required. Ability to work in the field on job sitesand with customers when required. Ability to work with no supervision,overtime, evenings, nights, and weekends as well as on-call duties.Special Physical Requirements: In addition to being able to sit, stand,walk, read, talk, write and hear, to perform the essential functions ofthis job an individual must be able...
