Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring 1st and 2nd shift welders and fitters to work with a well respected company with a starting pay of $23.00/hour and a max of $28.00/hour for more experienced welders. Client pays very generously with competitive pay rates in the market. The position is based out of Phoenix, AZ . Ideal candidates would be looking for a long term opportunity and to grow with a company. Welders will be fabricating and pipe fitting. The fabrication part will involve creating large frames using angle iron and 2" square tubing. The pipe fitting will be welding pipe anywhere from 3" in diameter to 24" in diameter. Welders will be responsible for cutting steel, washing steel, grinding, using oxy acetylene torch and more shop tools. They will need to weld with confidence and consistency for their level of experience. Welders will NOT only be welding. The projects are done in phases and when the welding phase is complete they will be expected to help out in other departments; Electrical, plumbing, testing etc. A majority of the time will be spent welding though. Flux core dual shield wire. 035 and 045.

　　1st shift Mon-Thurs 5:00am to 2:30pm with Friday Overtime starting at 9:00am

　　2nd shift Mon-Thurs 3:00pm to 1:30am with Friday Overtime starting at 9:00am

　　Environment :

　　Indoor Climate controlled (air conditioned) manufacturing facilityTop Skills:

　　MIG - Will be welding with Flux core using the MIG Process

　　Pipe Fitting - Will be fitting pipe from 3" up to 24"

　　Flux Core - Welders will be using flux core dual shield wire that is 045 and 035
