Kforce has a client that is seeking a Web Designer in Beaverton, OR.Summary:As a Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in providing design direction for key initiatives. Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, layouts, and information designs, conducting usability reviews, and breaking down complex problems into constituent parts for better understanding. You will be at the forefront of conceptualizing UI mock-ups with a strong emphasis on visual design. Additionally, you will contribute to creating style specifications and UI assets, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing end product.Key Tasks:
Web Designer will create wireframes, layouts, and information designs for various initiatives
Conduct usability reviews to enhance the overall user experience
Break down complex problems into constituent parts for better understanding
Design conceptual UI mock-ups with a focus on visual design excellence
Generate style specifications and UI assets to guide development teams
Understand client needs and incorporate them into the UI design process
As a Web Designer, you will apply knowledge of basic design principles such as affordance, grouping, consistency, and gestalt principles
Utilize basic heuristic principles of UI design to optimize user interactions
Apply basic user research techniques to inform and improve design decisions
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Creative Design
3 years of experience in Creative Design
Proficient in creating wireframes, layouts, and information design
Experience in conducting usability reviews for web interfaces
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues
Expertise in designing conceptual UI mock-ups with a focus on visual design
Ability to create style specifications and UI assets for development teams
Understanding of client needs and the ability to incorporate them into designs
Knowledge of basic design principles like affordance, grouping, consistency, and gestalt principles
Familiarity with basic heuristic principles of UI design
Proficient in basic user research techniques
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
