Weapon System Cybersecurity EngineerJob LocationsUS-OH-WPAFBID2023-7566CategoryCybersecurityTypeRegular Full-TimeOverviewCredence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Weapon System Cybersecurity Engineer in support of the Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems (CROWS) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.ResponsibilitiesAssist with cyber mission risk analysis by serving as a technical project manager.Provide cybersecurity / resiliency expertise and recommendations to the team leads relating to cyber resiliency activities to include, tracking, reporting, managing, resolving, mitigating risks, issues, and opportunities.Ensure CROWS schedules, budgets, and supporting documentation are defendable and support CROWS and higher headquarters (Secretary of Air Force/Acquisition (SAF/AQR)) priorities.Work with team members to establish, refine and execute CROWS team priorities.Perform technical project management duties in support of establishment and execution of independent technical reviews.Collaborate with CROWS management, team leads, and extended team to prepare for other scheduled and impromptu periodic internal and externally focused meetings including Program Management Reviews (PMR), CROWS Working Group Meetings, and senior level meetings.Assist with DoD and DAF program/project analysis including the planning and organizing of program/project activities, as required.Provide subject matter expertise to the development of cyber specific indicators.Analyze and report system security posture trends.Support assessment of the cyber posture of legacy and non-legacy systems and assist in the determination of a prioritization strategy to fix existing and future cyber vulnerabilities.Review existing and future cyber vulnerability assessments to identify targeted legacy/non-legacy systems and recommend mitigation strategies.Provide cybersecurity recommendations to leadership based on significant threats and vulnerabilities.Design methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.Provide recommendations for possible improvements and upgrades to increase cyber resiliency.Review system documentation and identifying any significant issues and variances that need addressing from a CROWS perspective.Provide policy guidance to CROWS areas of responsibility.Assist with technical work related to program management to include planning, organizing, and presenting assessments of program/project management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures.Gather, collect, prepare, and support requirements development and capturing actions associated with CROWS mission and any other activities/projects.Appraise and recommending technical implementation of security designs to ascertain security software, hardware, and firmware.Support identification of current and future cyber analyses to understand and classify the criticality, risk of occurrence, and feasibility of mitigation strategies for legacy systems and other systems.Assist in the development of reports outlining the mitigation objectives, cyber resiliency posture, and system cyber resiliency strategy.Incorporate inputs from CROWS teams to outline AF cyber resilient challenges and guide CROWS strategy and tactical next steps.QualificationsClearance: Top SecretMA/MS and ten (10) years relevant work experience orBA/BS and twelve (12) years relevant work experience orFifteen (15) years relevant work experienceSpecialized Knowledge and Experience Required:DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II.Minimum five years of direct experience with DoD weapon systems or space systems.Apply a current understanding of DoD acquisition processes to ensure timely and synchronized schedule integration of cyb
