Position Summary: Process journal entries and other transactions to support financials. Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations Manage and perform tasks associated with fixed assets and depreciation Financial statement analysis and reporting. Support the company in ensuring financials are correctly reported Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close Assist Financial Shared Services (FSS) with reconciliations and account analysis Support government and internal audits Implement , revise, and monitor compliance with regards to company policies The level hired to is based on qualifications listed below. Basic Qualifications: (Level 2) This position emphasized skills and experience. Must have 7 or more years of finance experience. Will also consider a bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university (will be verified) and 3 years of experience or a masters degree with 1 year of experience Knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheet applications and data bases (e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, MS Power Point) Ability to extract, compile, document and analyze data Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) (Level 3) This position emphasized skills and experience.
