POSITION SUMMARY :     The Wave Planning Coordinator is responsible for compiling orders from the customer into waves for the order selectors to pick. This position ensures that the orders are complete, printed, and reviewed prior to the start of operations.

　　Job Functions:

　　Ensure that tasks are generated and issued to drivers for active location replenishment

　　Manage open waves by ensuring that the waves are closed in a timely manner (24 hours period)

　　Assigns pick tickets and labels to pickers by using ship date priority and shipping/picking schedule.  Ensure proper guideline information is communicated to order pickers (label placement, etc).

　　Upkeep printer hardware to ensure wave labels print accurately and completely.

　　Manage pick tickets with inventory issues and follow up with Inventory Control on such pick tickets.

　　Completes the waves in the warehouse management system (WMS)

　　Prints order in dispatch order to give to pickers

　　Ensures communication between Selectors and Replenishers for stock replenishment needs

　　Ensures loads are completed by the Order Selectors

　　Ensures a balance of work is completed for each respective area

　　Monitor progress and take necessary action to notify, communicate, and/ or act directly to assure order fulfillment activity progresses as expected

　　Proactively monitor WMS environment looking for time-sensitive fulfillment requirements

　　Checks emails, voice mails and answers phone calls with a sense of urgency throughout the day.

　　Assist Pickers

　　Monitor daily reports to identify on-time shipping issues and assist in research as to why delays occurred.

　　Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

　　Education/Experience:

　　Must have a minimum of 1-year experience working as a Ecommerce or Shipping Clerk in a distribution environment

　　HS Diploma or Equivalent; Associate’s degree desired

　　Skills and Abilities which may be representative but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.

　　Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids which may be representative but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with this position:

　　            Computer knowledge – proficient in current office applications
