Description:
We work with both public and private clients on a broad range of civil engineering assignments. Our staff is experienced in geotechnical, water resources and environmental engineering and includes professional engineers, GIS/CAD designers, and laboratory and field technicians.
WATER RESOURCES / STORMWATER ENGINEER
We are seeking a Water Resources / Stormwater Engineer to work on a variety of water resources and stormwater projects. Performing civil design, permitting and overseeing construction of the projects. Type of projects include: pipe and stream channel conveyance, stream stabilization, trail/greenway, grading, and utility waste landfills. Design and regulatory permitting of site plans, drainage studies, stormwater collection systems, Best Management and LID practices, erosion control for construction, and floodplain modeling.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering in a related field
At least two years civil design experience (ideally 5 plus years)
Experience in the management, design, permitting, and construction oversight of Site/Civil/Stormwater projects.
Passed the Fundamentals in Engineering exam (FE) and have current E.I.T or E.I status
Technical proficiency in the use of CAD
GIS software experience
Experience in the use hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software such as HEC RAS, HEC HMS, SWMM and Autodesk Hydraflow.
Familiarity with site survey requirements, floodplain analysis, shop drawing review, and field construction QA/QC

Professional Engineer license with the ability to obtain licensure in Missouri is preferred
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
Familiarity with design standards of Ameren and the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD) is a plus
