Position locations in our Alexandria, VA, Bellevue, WA, Maynard, MA, Menlo Park, CA or Pasadena, CA offices will be considered. In this role you will work as part of a team to provide technical support on existing projects and business development efforts in the Ecological and Biological Sciences Practice.You will be responsible forStrategic business development and client networking with the aim to grow a broad range of science and engineering technical services globally in the agricultural and nutrient management arenaUnderstanding and interpreting water resources and land-use activities focusing on agricultural and nutrient management, including government regulations, environmental monitoring, site infrastructure, and production processesDirecting and support the conducting of analyses and preparing regulatory documents and expert reportsSynthesizing technical information and applying creative and critical thinking to prepare and review reports and technical presentationsDeveloping and maintaining professional status by authoring peer-reviewed publications, and participation in technical conferences and activities of professional societiesWorking cooperatively on projects with other members of the Ecological and Biological Sciences Practice and interdisciplinary groups from other Exponent practices as appropriateYou will have the following skills and qualificationsPh.D. in Water Resources, Agricultural Science, Ecology, Engineering, or another related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) for Senior Managing Engineer position trackMinimum of 7 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years of direct consulting experienceExpert level knowledge of land-use activities, agricultural science, soil science, crop management, water resources including irrigation practices, pest management, and nutrient managementWorking knowledge of farming practices Strong understanding of scientific sampling methodologies and the state-of-science on a broad range of terrestrial, wildlife, soil, and water quality issuesProven experience with data analysis and statisticsPr
