JOB OBJECTIVE:Perform operation and maintenance tasks on the water distribution system and wastewater collection system in order to provide superior quality water and wastewater services to the customer. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with on-call requirements.

　　JOB REQUIREMENTS:

　　Knowledge and experience with underground utilities or plumbing is helpful.Knowledge and experience with operating heavy equipment is helpful.Must have good verbal communication skills and ability to work well with the public.Must currently possess or obtain the Water Distribution Certification within 18 months of employment and must obtain the Wastewater Collection Certification within 30 months of employment.Must have a valid MD Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one within twelve months of hire date.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

　　PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

　　Job involves entering and working in permit required confined spaces, driving, operation of heavy equipment, lifting, bending, climbing and digging in all weather conditions.Must be able to pass DOT physical.Must have sufficient pulmonary function to wear self-contained breathing apparatus.Must wear proper PPE at all times.Benefits:
