　　At GDIT, people are our differentiator. The Sr. Physical Security Officer must have a strong background providing Physical Security support to industry interests, assets and personnel. In this role, a typical day will include:

　　Serves on a team supporting the Physical Security Director for GDIT HQ.

　　Management and oversight of access control system/s; CCure 9000, advanced knowledge of troubleshooting access panels, iSTAR configurations, APC, etc.

　　Ability to review facility layouts and make recommendations for proposed security control system components to personnel and equipment.

　　Respond to alarm or event notifications to identify critical events that need attention and resolution.

　　Creation of employee and visitor badges and security level assignment for access control.

　　Layout design and oversight of camera systems as necessary.

　　Perform investigations, documentation and develop incident reports for Management.

　　Ensures compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) and associated government regulations and company policies and procedures.

　　Advises GDIT Security Managers and Security Officers regarding security regulations and procedures.

　　Participates in the development and implementation of security procedures in coordination with government agencies and program management.

　　Experience with construction requirements of secure areas (Closed Areas, SCIFs, SAPF, etc.).

　　Provide oversight, procedural instruction and training to Security Guard personnel located at the site.

　　REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　High School Diploma and 10+ years of experience providing security support to a large global company.

　　Physical security experience with design and layouts, construction, and commissioning support for a large-scale Industry.

　　Strong hands-on experience managing SWH CCure 9000 system.

　　Must be a U.S. Citizen.

　　Able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.

　　Preferred qualifications:

　　CPP, PSP, PCI or other Physical Security Certifications

　　CCURE Certification Level 2
