　　8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

　　Job Summary

　　The supervisor ensures that all aspects of the wastewater managementsystem are functioning correctly. Supervisor reports findings and makesadjustments as needed to keep purity and amount of wastewater in linewith regulations.

　　Duties & Responsibilities

　　Check water pump and MBBR to make sure water is clear to city

　　Check water flows (how many gallons per minute) to the city

　　Ensure pumps are running properly so everything runs smoothly

　　Irrigate by changing head gates, moving pipe, and checking sprinklerheads for operability

　　Run belt press and make sure all components are running correctly(hydraulics, hose fittings, belt pressure correct)

　　Perform chemical transfer in safe and effective manner

　　Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment

　　Change filters on blowers and ensure air quality to lagoon is good andbearings are greased

　　Ensure aerators are running properly

　　Take water samples and ensure that bacteria count is good and that flowfrom plant to lagoon and then to the city is correct

　　Take dissolved oxygen readings 3 times daily to ensure level of oxygenis correct

　　Make sure temperature of water is correct

　　Interact with various vendors

　　Maintain files and logs for Department of Environmental Quality andEnvironmental Protection Agency

　　Maintain good personal hygiene, follow GMPs and keep a clean, safe andsanitary work place. Immediately report any situation that may causeproduct to be contaminated.

　　Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

　　Essential

　　Excellent self-management skills

　　Good communication skills

　　Well organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projectssimultaneously.

　　Basic PC skills in MS Office and database management.

　　Knowledge of wastewater industry regulations understands and iscompliant with GMP standards.

　　Able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities withefficiency and accuracy.

　　Able to lift 50 lbs. frequently during shift

　　Must be able to work effectively and safely in a wet and hot/coldenvironment

　　Maintain records/ reports for DEQ
