Responsible for various tasks that supportthe production of the high capacity commercial laundry plant in order tomeet customer needs. The type of work performed could be related to thefollowing: Dryer Operator, Wash Operator, Stain Washer, Sewing/Mending,Soil Sorting, as well as folding, commercial ironing, packing anddistributing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains flow oflinen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, etc. Pulls bags and/or processesother laundry activities in the designated order. Loads linen into emptypockets in tunnel; continues to do so as pockets transfer. Keeps pocketsloaded correctly with proper load size; prevents overload. Followsdirections and safety precautions. Maintains the production standards asdetermined per hour. Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problemsare impacting the ability to meet production standards. Performs otherduties as assigned.
