Description:

　　The Supply Specialist performs varied essential materials, distribution, and logistics tasks within the department of Materials Management in support of clinical activities within the medical complex.

　　The focus of this job purpose is based on the ability to determine replenishment requirements, locate, select, document issue of, and distribute medical supplies.

　　Documenting receipt of and distribution of supplies and equipment, cleaning and distribution of equipment, and distribution of linen are tasks required of this position.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　High school graduate (or GED equivalent) and one year of related work experience. Ability to work rotating weekends, rotating shifts and holidays.

　　Requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing as well as demonstrated ability to perform recordkeeping tasks, shipping/receiving, physical inventories and quality control checks.

　　Must be computer literate and have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.

　　Skills:

　　Ability to stand on feet all day

　　Physical ability to pick orders and stock shipments

　　Understanding how to use scanner to record materials

　　Material handling and logistics experience
