This position is on-site, and we are lookingfor good people who share our passion. Position ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, test and implement new technologies for Uline\'swarehouses. Educate operational leaders how technology works, can beapplied and fits into Uline\'s operations. Build relationships withexisting vendors, competing vendors and peer companies focusing on newtechnology. Attend trade conferences, conduct vendor visits and webinarsto stay on top of latest technology. Define the scope to evaluatetechnology in Uline distribution centers and warehouses. Work withvendors to conduct pilot tests on a limited scale before large-scaleinvestment. Develop estimates and build business cases to implement.Adapt technology based upon the lessons learned in pilot. Overseeprojects to their successful completion. Conduct site visits tolocations where technology is implemented. Negotiate contracts withvendors. Minimum Requirements Bachelor\'s degree. 10+ years experiencein warehousing and safety. Travel to Uline\'s branch and internationallocations, trade shows and vendor visits as needed.
