JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Warehouse SupervisorWORK LOCATION: Windsor, CTDEPARTMENT: Material ControlREPORTS TO: Spare Parts ManagerPOSITION SUMMARY:Reports to Material and Logistic Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the team organization, the management and control of the warehouse, and the inventory accuracy. The warehouse team is working in 2 shifts (Day and night shifts).The Warehouse Supervisor has 3 main missions:1) Serve production and customers (Spare Parts department, sister companies...),2) Ensure accuracy of the transactions in the ERP for any parts (Inbound, outbound, adjustments, transfers...) and the accuracy of the inventory,3) Drive the team with clear goals for cleanliness & efficient and reliable processes.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(Other duties may be assigned)* Manage the warehouse team in respect to safety protocols and regulations,* Manage inbound team from receiving to put away,* Manage outbound team for production and customer delivery on time and accurately,* Manage the Yard team* Ensure cycle counts are performed as per group rules (DMS 1003),* Make sure all transactions of parts from and to warehouse are performed accurately by the team members and other departments (if any) in ERP,* Organize Returns to Stock (RTS) of the unused material,* Analyze all Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) related to Warehouse and optimize / improve process as needed,* Put in place efficient processes to improve continuously the team performances,* Promote all tools for productivity like WMS,* Respect the TLD Group standards for cleanliness, in the warehouse and in the outside backyard storage* Release reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) related to warehouse,* Performs other tasks as assigned by managementOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:* Cross-train the team members to keep back up capacity.* Perform the reviews of the employees as per TLD calendar and make sure the warehouse's team-leaders are doing them on time for the associates* Establish standards and procedures for continuous improvement and ISO certification.* Maintain currency with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses; seminars, exhibits and trade shows as needed.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
