　　Warehouse Supervisor Mid-Shift Elgin, IL

　　Position Overview

　　Shaw Industries is seeking a Warehouse Superivosr t o effectively lead and support departmental and facility operations ensuring that all customer requirements are met. This position will supervise all warehouse associates in our Elgin, IL location working Mon-Fri: 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

　　Responsibilities

　　Lead the daily functions of receiving, processing, shipping, storing, and delivery of flooring products and related materials, and the employees involved in these processes.

　　Ensure the safety of all employees engaged in the above process while maintaining a positive working relationship with all employees in the facility.

　　Continually train, develop and coach employees.

　　Provide assistance to the facility manager in terms of decision making and problem solving while supervising employees working off shifts.

　　Maintain and manage inventory and control security of all related products.

　　Conduct weekly meetings with hourly employees to discuss safety, quality and policy requirements.

　　Manage performance by ensuring corrective action is taken when employee behavior must be addressed.

　　Responsible for ensuring warehouse goals consistently meet expectations, thereby assisting the RDC to meet overall service expectations of our customers.

　　Qualifications

　　4-year degree and 1+ year of Lead/Supervisory experience or High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of previous Lead /Supervisory experience.

　　2+ years previous Distribution experience required.

　　Good communication skills, both verbal and written are required.

　　Candidate must have good computer skills including but not limited to Excel, Word and other software programs.

　　Must be self-motivated and results oriented.

　　Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization and work with little supervision and exercise.

　　Ability to work out of Elgin, IL Mon-Fri: 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
