These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.How You'll Perform the RoleMake safety the number one priority everyday while maintaining an efficient warehouse that meets customer and internal needs.Drive and maintain a safe work environment with feedback up and down the chain.Participate in daily Gemba walks, Safety Committee, and other meetings as required.Comply with all Safety, Quality, Forestry, GFSI, and GMP programs or requirements.Manage warehouse employees. This includes efficient use of labor hours including departmental OT, covering vacations, coaching as needed, performing performance reviews and addressing disciplinary concerns.Ensure all incoming deliveries are received correctly including receiving in SAP, storage of paperwork, creation of labels, and storage of goods in the appropriate location.Ensure all outgoing deliveries are correct including paperwork completed accurately, load built accurately, and customer requirements met.Manage activity and inventory of outside warehouses including milk runs to ensure proper materials are on site to support production and maintain FIFO inventory control.Check on status of shipments and/or deliveries.Work with appropriate agencies to schedule shipments and deliveries as needed.Work with customer service in regard to delayed shipments, back orders, incorrectly scheduled shipments, deliveries, etc.Manage recycle trucks for paper, cardboard, plastic, and any other appropriate items. Work with production to keep these items from building up on production floor.Work hand in hand with production to achieve On Time In Full goals.Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects and Activities.Work with Maintenance to keep all lift trucks, dock doors, etc. in good operating condition.Work with QEHS to manage the shipping and receiving of print plates.Handle package shipments and deliveries with UPS, FedEx, etc.Be proficient with and utilize ERP system effectively and efficiently.Actively follow up, own, and find solutions in relation to all the items listed.What We Need From YouHigh School Diploma or GED required.Self motivated and team orientedShould possess basic mechanical skills.Capable of working in hot environment.Capable of standing for long periods of time.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., to a height of 7 to 8 ft. when stacking finished product.Must have good communication skills.Must be self motivated.Must have basic computer and math skills.Must be able to read and comprehend Basic English.Regularly required to stand, sit, move about facility, climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools and controls, grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, lift above shoulder level.What You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance (including Telehealth options) as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
