Warehouse Person: Position Grade C (Entry - Level)
Position Objective
To Receive, Inventory, and locate all Material / Equipment Received to Jobsite. Also, all Material / Equipment to be issued by Warehouse to Requesting Department.
Training
Training for forklift Operation and Certification will be done. Training on all receiving Procedures and Policies will also be presented in a Training Seminar.
Authority / Decision Making
This Position will Carry Little or No Authority. Decision Making will be done on a Daily Basis regarding basis aspects or receiving department.
Duties & Responsibilities
Task and Duties
Receive all Incoming Shipments to Jobsite by unloading manually or by using proper unloading equipment such as forklift or pallet jack.
Inventory all receiving - Compare physical material against packing list by vendor.
Tag / label / identify all material / Equipment upon receiving.
Properly locate all materials / Equipment in respective areas as instructed.
Assign material location to items for proper location assignment. Indicate this Location on all receiving paperwork.
Report all discrepancies regarding problems created by comparing physical versus paperwork.
Issue material based on issue ticket to requesting department.
Deliver material to requesting department as necessary.
Inventory material / equipment as assigned during physical inventories.
Assist senior warehouseman in all activities and duties.
Maintain all Housekeeping and 5S policies in effect at all times.
Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
Machinery, Tools, Equipment, Electronic devices & Software.
Forklift - Will be used for all unloading on a daily basis for unloading of any items that cannot be manually unloaded. Must be trained and certified.
Cargo Tractor - Used to pull trailers with material placed on them for delivery to all plants.
Physical and Visual Activity Required
Physical
Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist. Example: Changing paper in printer, copier machine.
Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
Crouching, bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
Reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Example: Making copies, giving presentation, directing traffic.
Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time. Example: Making copies, giving presentations, directing traffic.
Walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.
Pushing, using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
Lifting, raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. DEGREE OF LIFTING: 51-100 lbs,
Talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; via face to face or telephone.
Repetitive motions, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hand and / or fingers. Example: Filing, sorting mail, starting ignition of machinery.
Visual
Machine operation, inspection, and close assembly, clerical, and administrative duties. Example: preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, data entry, CRT exposure, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small detects, small parts, using measurement devices or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Machine operation and skilled trades, use of lathes, drills, presses, power tools where seeing at a job is at or within arms reach.
Mobile equipment operations, operate cars, trucks, buses, forklift, cranes, and high lift equipment.
Other criteria based on accuracy and neatness of work. Example: Cleaning personnel sweepers, janitors, and cooks.
Position requires individual to differentiate colors, depth, and perception.
Work Environment Conditions.
Inside and outside environments apply.
Subject to extreme cold; temperature below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
Subject to extreme heat, temperature above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
Subject to noise, causing reason to shout in order to be heard above the noise level.
Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body.
Subject to hazard such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat, or explosives.
Not exposed to any adverse environmental conditions.

Motor vehicle - Daily, valid driver's license adhere to plant road rules.
Computer terminal - 2 times a week, basic keyboard training.
