　　About the role:

　　WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Fairview, OR. This role directs warehousing activities for the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate personnel.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling / disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.

　　Prepares weekly and monthly statistical information for upper management.

　　Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, and purchasing.

　　Implements measures to improve procedural methods, overall performance, and quality of product presentation.

　　Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the operation, department, or work crew.

　　Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing WEG-s standards and procedures.

　　Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems, and initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.

　　Establishes or adjusts work procedures and processes to meet required schedules, using knowledge of facilities, processes, and capacity of personnel, machines and equipment.

　　Responsible for contributing to strategic planning in order to manage warehouse efficiencies and cost control.

　　Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization-s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Also contribute to termination decisions, working with senior management.

　　Other duties and tasks as assigned.

　　Education:

　　High School or GED. Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or related field is highly preferred.Knowledge / training:

　　Solid experience with order picking, shipping, receiving product, understanding how to piece orders together, and outbound product loading/unloading.

　　Experience with working with product on racking, bulk storage and cycle counting.

　　Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.

　　Proficiency with Microsoft suite.

　　Proficiency driving a sit-down and stand-up forklift.

　　Inventory control / management.

　　People management.

　　Experience:
