ROLE SUMMARYResponsible for tasks in relation to picking, packing and shippingdirect-to-consumer orders and support small parcel shipments. utilizingRF scanner and various computer shipping software. AREAS OFRESPONSIBILITY Inspect merchandise to ensure only quality product isused to complete the order. Meet production, quality, and accuracylevels as established by business unit. Attention to detail and abilityto work under pressure in a deadline driven environment. Perform allother duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Select food and/oraccessory products to fill customer orders completely and accurately.Load and unload packages off the packing line and stack them on pallets.Utilize computer system and high-volume conveyor line to pack andprepare daily shipments using UPS, Fedex or other shipping softwareapplications, including necessary paperwork, shipping labels andtracking information. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Workextended hours, as required by operational needs. Flexibility to work inother areas and departments, as needed. Must be able to cross train inother departmental areas. Maintain a clean workplace to avoid trippinghazards or other accidents. Follow all food safety policies andprocedures including performing daily, weekly and monthly cleaningassignments and related activities as directed. Promote a safe workenvironment by following facility and company safety guidelines. Abilityto work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Ability toeffectively communicate with manager and co-workers. Ability tocomprehend and carryout simple instructions. Safely operate and becomecertified in use of electric pallet jack, walk-rider, and/or otherrequired equipment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1 or more years relatedwarehouse experience, preferred. RF scanner experience, preferred. Basiccomputer skills, required.
