  Job Description:

  Warehouse File Retrieving and Processing

  (onsite – Springfield, MA)

  Pay rate is $18.00 an hour.

  First shift: 7:00AM – 3:30PM, Monday – Friday (no weekend!)

  Project-based role until September 30 th , 2024.

  Conduent is looking for highly organized and detail-oriented individuals for Warehouse File Retrieving & Processing to join our team at our client site in Springfield, MA. The Document Processor will play a crucial role in the efficient retrieval, relocation and storage of policy files. This position involves coordinating various processes related to policy files, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely execution. Specific activities include, but are not limited to,

  Pulls (Warehouse Retrievals)

  Extract physical policy files from file storage area.

  Utilize movable ladders to access open shelves and retrieve specific documents containing policy numbers, client information, and product details.

  Ensure accuracy in denoting relevant information related to the files being pulled.

  Relocation

  Safely and systematically relocate policy files to designated locations onsite at the Springfield, MA campus.

  Maintain the organization and accessibility of policy files during the relocation process.

  Info Shred

  Collaborate with third-party vendors for offsite relocation of policy files for long-term storage.

  Coordinate pick-up and transportation to a location outside of the client campus.

  Prepare policies for storage in boxes, index them, and adhere to defined procedures provided by the client.

  Shredding

  Oversee the secure destruction of selected policy files in coordination with a third-party vendor.

  Ensure policies stored in boxes are picked up and shredded according to client's prescribed procedure.

  System Updates

  Contribute to the accuracy of client systems by updating relevant information related to policy disposition.QC Review

  Conduct quality reviews of randomly selected policy files for a defined sample size.

  Ensure accurate selection of disposition categories and proper indexing based on file categories.

  Box Reconciliation

  Perform all necessary activities to confirm that items reported as received on a particular day are processed and placed in designated boxes.Requirements of the role:

  • Be at least 18 years or older

  • Have a High School Diploma, or equivalent

  • Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check

  • Prior relevant work experience (6 months) is preferred

  Familiarity with indexing and tracking systems is a plus

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  Proficiency in using basic office equipment and computer systems

  Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving boxes, repeatedly move up and down ladders/ stairs

  Have good English communication skills• Be courteous and friendly with a high degree of professionalism

  Have an eye for detail and uphold high work standards

  Understanding of confidentiality and privacy standards

  Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary for this role is $18.00 per hour.
