Responsible for daily on-site development and executional support of operational excellence (OE) and equipment reliability activities at Coman facility, achieved through solid business partnerships. This role is the key OE/Reliability conduit between the plant floor, site leadership and The Coca-Cola Company.
Job Description
This position is based in a Co-Manufacturing location in Central Florida. This role provides plant level support for the on-site Coca-Cola team and builds a robust partnership with the Peace River Citrus Products (PRCP) Coman team. The OE/ Reliability Lead is responsible for driving and executing continuous improvement and OE Culture in the plant, as well as sound maintenance reliability activities. It provides OE capabilities and expertise on Lean/Six Sigma Principles to the site and works to increase capabilities throughout the plant. Works to achieve a Sustainable Continuous Improvement Site Culture. Collaborates with plant and Coca-Cola to communicate benchmarking methodology and achieve goals.
*What You'll Do for Us *
Develop operational excellence initiatives, business processes and practices by supporting and directing supply chain activities, involving external suppliers, functional peers, customer teams and/or cross-functional teams.
Review facility capability and environment (e.g., technology, systems, quality, cost, efficiencies, yield, preventative and reactive maintenance, warehousing & distribution) to recommend process improvements.
Support the development of lean manufacturing processes; continuous improvement, standard work, problem solving, value stream mapping, training, and employee involvement.
Partner with site to lead, teach and coach associates at all levels on Lean Manufacturing processes.
Facilitate the development of and maintain the Lean Implementation plan for the location.
Drive Lean Training and implement a lean toolkit utilizing Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA); value stream mapping; quick changeovers; Kaizen, problem solving, 5S, etc.
Lead Continuous Improvement events resulting in associate skill and knowledge development and KPI performance improvements.
Provide ongoing coaching and support for line maintenance programs, including PM, Spare Parts, Down Time analysis, etc.
Using tracking and reporting systems, prepares plans, drives performance, and assures timely completion and achievement of product/process quality and savings goals.
Identifies barriers to success and solicits help from leadership when needed.
*Qualifications & Requirements *
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience with LEAN/Six Sigma, preferably within the Supply Chain
5+ years of experience in Maintenance and Reliability roles
3+ years of experience in a project management role
Hands on experience using Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods (LEAN, TPM, 6 Sigma)
Experience with Lean projects and methodology
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority.
Experience in business transformation and process improvement roles using proven problem solving/continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with change management and influencing organizational culture change.
MS Excel, PowerPoint
Lean Six Sigma
Mini-Tab Experience preferred.
Green Belt Certification preferred.
Certified Lean Manager preferred.
