Warehouse Assistant/ Product Delivery - Must have a valid California State Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B, with Hazardous endorsement.

　　General Description:

　　Primarily warehouse operation and management, shipping and receiving, and inventory control. Provides assistance to other departments as requested. Delivering product to customers facilities. Must have a valid California State Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B, with Hazardous endorsement.Principal Responsibilities

　　· Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized warehouse.

　　· Operate the forklift, which includes maintaining a service schedule to insure the forklift’s reliable operation.

　　· Assure security of warehouse equipment, inventory and parts.

　　· Perform shipping and receiving, including issuance of inventory and service parts to Pace service trucks.

　　· Prepare all associated documents and assure proper paper flow.

　　· Assure legal compliance regarding packaging and shipping of inventory and fruit samples.

　　· Recommend reordering of inventory and parts as appropriate. Assist in reordering.

　　· Assist with maintaining the inventory management records, which document warehouse contents. Identification by both item and lot is important.

　　· Assist with performing physical inventory counts and reconciling count results with the inventory management records.

　　· Delivering product to customers and picking up all empty drums and containers for proper disposal.

　　· Answer the phone, take down all message information and forwards the information to the proper person.

　　· Maintain a good working relationship with all Pace stakeholders (customers, employees, suppliers)

　　· This position will take its direction on prioritization of tasks from the Visalia Warehouse/Office Manager.

　　· Perform warehouse and office safety compliance checks, as required.

　　· Other duties as assigned.

　　TYPICAL EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION GUIDELINES:

　　· High school graduate with mechanical aptitude.

　　· Experience in packing house operations desirable.

　　· Knowledge of computer data entry and inventory management will be required.

　　· Good verbal and written communication skills.

　　· Basic math skills as would be expected with High School Diploma.

　　· Ability to excel highly desirable.

　　· Ability to learn the demands of our customers and prioritize tasks to ensure Pace’s stellar customer service reputation is preserved, while protecting all Pace’s assets (warehouse, inventory, forklift).

　　· Must have a valid California State Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B, with Hazardous endorsement.

　　· Must be able to operate a forklift, Pace will provide certification.

　　· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

　　Hourly range: $23.00 - $28.00, profit sharing potential
