JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position: Warehouse - 2nd shift Location: Brookfield,WI Job Id: 231 # of Openings: 1 SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under thedirection of the Brookfield Shipping Supervisor, Packer is to preparecustomer orders for shipment. May also be involved in the orderselection of Standard tool orders and the inventory verification andplacement of incoming stock into proper locations PRINCIPALRESPONSIBLITIES: Pull, pack and ship customer orders for Standard Toolcatalog items. Operate SAP EWM system by utilizing scanner to verifycustomers order and to maintain inventory items. Package and label\"Specials\" tool orders, verify quantity and shipping information, bandand transfer to packing line. Verify counts and place incoming inventoryitems in proper storage locations. Operate UPS shipping computer andscale to weigh and label sealed packages. Place all outgoing packagesinto proper shipping container for pick-up by contract carrier. Dailycleaning of work area to maintain clean, orderly and safe workingconditions. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Must be able to read and understandwritten instruction attached to customer order form. Must haveappropriate math skills to verify quantities. Must have basic computerskills with ability to enter shipping data, generate customer labels,locate stock locations and enter inventory amounts for incoming stock.Must be able to type and spell accurately to enter detailed shippinginformation and verify accuracy. Continuous standing and walking inwarehouse environment. Frequent use of arms and hands to lift, carry,reach, place, pull containers weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequent bendingand stretching to place or remove items from storage racks and to obtainnecessary supplies. Above average hand-eye coordination to package andlabel product, form and close shipping containers. Must be able tosafely handle customer orders without causing injury or damage. May berequired to use ladder or moveable stairs to reach high storagelocations. Must be able to understand a variety of written instructionsand interpret unique directives for specific customers and situations.Must be able to count and verify accuracy of large quantity orders. Mustbe able to make independent judgements regarding appropriate packagingmaterials.
