JOB REQUIREMENTS: Shift: 2nd Shift ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESParticipates in training to produce a quality product and usespreventative measures to ensure the customer requirements and Tennecostandards are met. Comply with legal and other requirements to avoidinjury and/or ill health to themselves and others. Understandspreventative measures and creates a safe environment by having theability to identify potential emergency situations and reports allincidents to supervisor/ manager. Adheres to the facility\'s quality,environmental, health and safety policies that are identified by themanagement systems. Reads router, blueprints and production schedulesand special instructions for product specifications such as, dimensions,tolerance, and number of parts to be processed and when. Setup andverifies equipment including but not limited to camera placement, camerafocus, rail setting, probe settings, switches, control of pneumaticvalve adjustments, feeds and speeds are in conformance to specificationby using established standards. Sets equipment controls to specifiedtolerances and parameters by selecting programs and or using visionsoftware to specified tolerances. Uses micrometers, air gauging, digitalindicators, scales, visual standards and any other inspection equipmentas required. Visually inspects parts as required per standards. Followspackaging instructions which includes the type of containers, quantitiesper container, label information and number of parts to be processed andwhen. Read special instructions as required. Records information forinspection and production using various forms, logs, and computersystems. Operates overhead hoists, and hand jacks. Loads and unloadsvarious types of containers, which in include but are not limited tobags, crates, bins, totes, and boxes. Enters data into computer systemfor data labels, verifies and setup of various digital-counting scales.Setup and monitors equipment daily. Troubleshoots and performsappropriate maintenance of the equipment by observation and generalcleaning. Analyzes and monitors scrap and nonconforming parts by usingstatistical data to aid in determining cause of failure. Ability toread, interprets, and follows all safety rules and regulations whileperforming operations. Overtime is required to support othermanufacturing areas as posted weekly. Overtime may be mandated for thisposition or a pager rotation schedule maybe used. Any other duties andresponsibilities as assigned by supervisor/management. QUALIFICATIONREQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
