Description

　　Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a well-respected company. As part of the management team, the director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills. If you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

　　Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans

　　Develop and monitor an organizational structure in order to accomplish department goals and objectives

　　Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions

　　Analyze monthly operating performance against budget

　　Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions

　　Oversee the preparation of all financial reports

　　Adhere to local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements

　　Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models

　　Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

　　Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

　　Take ownership of insurance and risk management

　　Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department

　　Hire and train employees, especially finance staff, and manage retention

　　Requirements - High analytical and extremely detailed

　　10+ years of accounting and finance experience

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

　　Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems

　　Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

　　Strong Microsoft Excel skills required

　　MBA or CPA is preferred
