　　The Vice President of Logistics is responsible for IFF’s global distribution and transportation operations. The position is accountable for ensuring our deliveries are on time, in full, and complete through systems and tools focused first and foremost on our customers. The incumbent will be responsible for daily through long-term operational success and strategies, ensuring cost effectiveness/value, and efficient, safe, and compliant operations. The position manages a network of over 70 distribution centers and warehouses globally and is responsible for the management of relationships with global and regional logistics providers.

　　How you’ll leave your mark…

　　As our Head of Global Logistics, you will play a strategic role in IFF’s ability to deliver against our customers’ expectations & requirements. We will rely heavily on your knowledge of the distribution industry & internal capabilities. You will manage one of the single largest spend areas in the company, and be part of the strategic triangle of Supply Chain functions that envelop Manufacturing to plan, execute, and optimize the Order to Cash workflow (along with our Global Customer Service Leader, & Global Planning Leader). This position reports into our Senior Vice President – Global Supply Chain.

　　What your work will taste like – You will …

　　Be responsible for IFF's global distribution & transportation operations

　　The position manages a network of over 70 distribution centers and warehouses globally

　　Ensure efficient global spend management across transportation and warehousing, accomplished through the execution of strategic service providers

　　$450MM in transportation spend

　　$125MM of warehousing spend

　　Be accountable for driving the transformation of the Logistics and Distribution function to be “Best in Class” (technology adoption, network optimization, cost, efficiency, delivery performance improvement etc.)

　　Drive strategic development & management in pursuit of delivering the right product, on time, in full, and damage-free, in line with our customers’ expectations

　　Enable strategic integration of the heritage distribution networks and operational systems

　　Ensure distribution security, safety, industry compliance, environmental spill mitigation/controls/notifications, & personnel safety when handling our products

　　Lead personnel development & management of internal global staff of 170 FTE’s

　　Job Requirements

　　How you’ll spice up our results – You have…

　　Ability to develop sound strategic intent and master execution

　　Bachelors/ Masters preferred in in logistics, supply management, operations management, or relevant discipline

　　At least 20 years of experience in a supply chain environment (distribution experience preferred, 3PL/4PL)

　　5 – 10 years of global operations experience in a leadership role

　　You bring deep logistics industry expertise across all modes of transportation (multi-mode)

　　Experience working in an international environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders across various functions

　　Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence

　　Ability to develop and potentially grow into a wider SC Operations role in the future (S&OP, Planning, Customer Service etc.)

　　APICS / ASCM certification or equivalent (preferred)

　　Preferred skills

　　M&A integration experience

　　Customs & Trade Compliance working knowledge

　　Knowledge of International Transportation regulations
