TheVPand GMofManagedServicesis aglobalroleresponsible foroverseeing the portfolio ofmonitoring, management, and supportpracticesas well ashigh-qualityservice deliveryto ourcustomers. This leader will drive the strategy,innovation,and execution of ourmanaged services capabilitieswhile also focusing ontransforminga global organization of talented, motivated people supporting the growthobjectivesof our Personal Systems, Printing, andWorkforce Solutionsbusiness units.
Thisleader willbe responsible forthe definition, delivery, and overall P&L ofhorizontalManagedServicescapabilities supporting multiple customer solution areas relating to the Future of Work(includingourModernWorkforce, Next-Gen Workspace,Transformational IT Management, andSecurity). These solutions include hardware, software, services, and supplies from both HP and thirdparties.These solutions can be sold and/or deployed by our world-class channel and partner service network.
Experience in the IT managed services industry isrequired.The ideal candidatehasexperience inagrowth-oriented enterpriseorganizationtransformingand growingitsglobalManagedServicesbusiness unit.Thecandidateshouldhavedirectexperience inmoving from siloed, technology-centric, managed service capabilities to consistent, horizontal capabilities.This leader should be focused not only on operational excellence, butincreasingcustomer satisfaction anddemonstratinghowHP can deliver recurring value.Thesuccessful leadershouldbeanalytical, results-oriented, self-driven,willing to work with ambiguity,andhave a “can-do” attitude. The candidate must have a proventrackrecordofboth running services operations andtransformingthose operations into a new businessglobally. The candidate should also be excellent at nurturing cross-organization relationships toaccomplishgoals. Executive presentation skills are a significant part of the role. A passionateand energizedchange management individualis required tohelpassess, recommend, evangelize, and implement best industry standards.Experience in theend usercomputingoraudio / visual industry including collaboration systems, conferencing and telephony is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: As the leader of theManagedServicesorganization,they willberesponsible forsetting the overall strategic direction for theorganizationand ensuring that it is aligned with the company's goals andobjectives. They must also provide strong leadership and management to the team of professionals working under them.
FinancialManagement:Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost-effectiveness of theManagedServicesbusinessthrough effective budgeting, resource allocation, and financial analysis.
CustomerRelationship Management: TheVPofManagedServicesis responsible formanagingcustomerrelationships and ensuring that the servicesprovidedmeet their needs and expectations. This may involve working closely with sales and business development teams toidentifynew opportunities and upsell existing services.
Project Management: TheVPofManagedServicesis responsible formanagingongoing service delivery for our customers. This includesmonitoring system health, managingupdates, addressing issues proactively (ideally through automation or remote management), and reporting on their success to customers.
Resource Management: TheVPofManagedServicesis responsible formanaging thebusiness’sresources, including people, technology, and processes. They must ensure that the team has the necessary skills and tools to deliver high-quality services tocustomers.
Performance Management: TheVPofManagedServicesis responsible forsetting performance goals for the team and monitoring progress against those goals. They must provide regular feedback and coaching to team members and ensure that they have the necessary training and development opportunities.
Risk Management: TheVPofManagedServicesis responsible foridentifying and mitigating risks associated with service deliveryand change management. This may involve working with legal and compliance teams to ensure that servicescomply withapplicable laws and regulations.
Continuous Improvement: TheVPofManagedServicesis responsible foridentifyingareas for improvement in thebusiness’sprocesses, systems, and services. They must work closely with otherfunctionsto implement improvements and drive overall business performance.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or demonstrable equivalent in information systems/technology, computer science,engineeringor business degree. Masters’ degree or demonstrable equivalent preferred.
Typically,10+ years ofseniormanagement experience, including leading global teams.
5+years of leadership experience managing aglobalteam of50 or morepeople.
Adeep understanding of theIT managed servicesindustry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.This leadershould also have knowledge of the various functions and roles within themanagedservices industry, as well as an understanding of the different types of clients and their needs.
Experience in delivering high-quality services to clients. This includes project management, resource management, and client relationship management.
Experience leading a large organization to achieve today’s goals while simultaneously transforming it for the future
Astrong understanding of business principles, including finance, marketing, and strategy. They should be able to align the services provided with the overall businessobjectivesand ensure that the department isoperatingefficiently and profitably.
Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team, manage resources effectively, and provide clear direction and guidance.
Experience in sales and business development, includingidentifyingnew opportunities and upselling existing services. They should also have strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and partners.

Demonstrated ability to implement best practices and make effective processimprovements.
