About Volunteer - Orem Community Hospital

  Job Description:

  Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.

  Orem Community Hospital is seeking positive, service-oriented volunteers.

  Potential Volunteer Opportunities include but are not limited to:

  Gift Shop

  Wayfinding

  Emergency Department

  Same Day Surgery

  Women's Center

  Qualifications:

  Must be 18 years or older

  Six months Commitment

  Able to work alone and independently

  Customer service skills

  Able to follow instructions

  Good listening skills

  Able to work with diverse population

  Commitment -

  One shift per week for a minimum of six months. Exceptions may be given for vacations and illness.Qualifications -

  Able to work well with diverse populations.

  Good customer service and telephone skills.

  Practices good hygiene.

  Must be 18 years of age or older.

  Physical Requirements -

  Moderate lifting/carrying/pushing

  Adequate hearing and vision (able to read small print)
