About our group:

　　The VLSI organization at Seagate delivers state of the art System-on-ChipASICs, which are used in Seagate storage products - hard disk drives,solid state drives, and storage systems. Our group is part of the VLSIchannel organization, and we are responsible for validation of the HDD ReadChannel on new SoC's. The Read Channel is a major part of the SoC that hasthe ECC encoder/decoder, Soft Output Viterbi detector and complete analogfront end of the system. Our group works closely with the Seagate designcenters, Read Channel designers and architects to ensure properfunctionality and design quality of the Read Channel.

　　About the role - you will:

　　Work with the Read Channel validation team to validate the functionalcapabilityPovide feedback to drive teams and designers on current Read Channel signalcapabilities.Test and validate Read ChannelProgram Read ChannelCollect and analyze dataPerform experiments to assess channel features.Be responsible for performing tests, analyzing the data, and documentingthe test procedure and results.

　　Your experience includes:

　　Classroom/lab experience using digital oscilloscopes and PC based testsystems.Programming skills in languages such as Python, Matlab, or C/C++Familiarity with analog and digital circuit operationsElectrical engineering degree BS degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering)

　　Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires weinform you of the estimated base salary range for this position:$63,000- $82,000. Actual salary range is based on fair market value ofthe role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of thejob and your skills.
