Vista Hermosa Library Branch Supervisor

　　Description: Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Branch Supervisor of the Vista Hermosa Library is responsible for efficient operation of the branch library and management of the facility; as a member of the Branch Supervisor team, provides input in the development of library policies and procedures; provides assistance to patrons; writes monthly reports for the board and director; manages cash handling and some aspects of the budget; oversees and participates in the planning of library programming for children, teens, and the community at large; oversees library publicity and social media; and participates in district-wide training opportunities and planning. Current staffing for the position is 20 hours per week, Tuesday & Thursdays 11am-7pm and Saturdays 10am-3pm.The Branch Supervisor liaises with the Executive Director, Collections Development Managers, Technology Manager, Cataloger, and  ILL Specialist, Administrative Specialist, and Executive Bookkeeper.
