JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties VA Careers - Pharmacy: The VISN AD CPP works ina Consolidated Work Unit (CWU) independently under the VISN AD ProgramManager. The incumbent works strategically with the AD Program Manageron issues as needed of significant matters relating to the overallmission of the Network. The VISN AD CPP may be asked to serve as theActing AD Program Manager in his/her/their absence. Duties not limitedto: FUNCTIONS 1. Program Administration Manages assigned AD programs andcampaigns requiring coordination of multiple locations such as medicalcenter care facilities, Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs),rural health areas, etc. Reports on the success of the program,including improved quality assurance metrics, areas of improvement andlessons learned. Advocates for the best Veteran care but does not pushresources or information, if not appropriate. Advocates for innovationand change through committee involvement. Sets and meets priorities,attends identified priority meetings, follows through on commitments,safeguards information, organizes and uses time and resources to achievedesired results. Fosters professional growth through mentorship toadvance the practice of academic detailing. Operationalizes academicdetailing campaigns as assigned. This includes but is not limited toenvironmental assessment, stakeholder engagement, modulepreparation/upskilling, inservice/socialization, process improvementstrategies, outreach visits, and evaluation. Evaluates progress for eachcampaign working with the AD Program Manager to set campaign metricgoals. Conducts periodic assessment of campaign implementation andbehavior change progress and shares strong practices when identified.Provides direct implementation services supporting practice change toalign with evidence-based recommendations where gaps in quality havebeen identified in the healthcare system. Targets and tracks outcomes ofcampaign/program goals, clinical patient outcome trends, healthcareresource utilization, and value-based medication use throughout theorganization. Provides feedback to assigned facilities/clinicians onperformance measure trends as relevant to AD initiatives for continuedsupport for any necessary changes. Reviews and uses data tools to trackperformance measures, and to provide population-based feedback to meetmeasures. 2.
