The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation (CiTi BOCES) is seeking New York State Certified Teachers to join the Synergy Virtual Tutoring Service team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and possess the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic virtual learning environment. As a virtual tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized one-to-one or small group live virtual tutoring sessions to students during the school day.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Conduct live virtual interactive tutoring sessions in a synchronous videoconferencing environment

　　Adapt teaching methods to suit a virtual learning environment

　　Engage students in meaningful learning experiences

　　Track student progress and communicate effectively with students, guardians, and school districts

　　Foster a positive and engaging learning environment in a virtual community

　　Job Qualifications

　　New York State Teaching Certificate

　　Instructional technology skills and familiarity with virtual learning platforms

　　Ability to think fluidly in a virtual work environment

　　Creativity and innovation in teaching approaches

　　Strong collaboration and communication skills

　　Availability between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

　　Hours are flexible and are typically 1-3 hour time blocks

　　Dual certification in relevant subject areas is a plus
