  We have a unique opportunity for a Virtual Nurse to join our team as we implement a new patient care model that leverages technology to provide additional support to our staff while also improving patient experience.

  As a Virtual Nurse, you will utilize your clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the principles of case management and adult education to coordinate, implement and support a plan of care that meets the patient's needs and ensures a seamless, effective, and efficient transition of care. This includes the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of patient plan of care from admission to discharge.

  This is an onsite position – you will work from a location within the hospital campus.

  S ign-on bonus is available!

  GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.

  Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

  Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

  Other certifications may be required as identified in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

  Minimum eight (8) years of experience in health condition management, which must include adult condition management.

  Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
