In this position duties include: Plan,develop,organize,implement,directandevaluatethesenior livingfiscalfunctionand performance. Participateinthedevelopmentofthesenior livplansandprogramsasastrategicpartner. Evaluateandadviseontheimpactoflongrangeplanning,introductionofnew programs/strategies and regulatory action. Providetimelyandaccurateanalysisofbudgets,financialreportsandfinancialtrendsinorderto assist the SVP of Operations, ownership groups/stakeholders, the Lifespark Executive leadership and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities. Enhanceand/ordevelop,implementandenforcepoliciesandproceduresofthesenior livingby wayof systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the business unit. Establishcredibilitythroughouttheorganizationasaneffectivedeveloperof solutions to business challenges. Providetechnicalfinancialadviceandknowledgetootherswithinsenior living and as needed with Lifespark leaders. Continualimprovementofthebudgetingprocessthrougheducationofdepartmentmanagerson financial issues impacting department budgets. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting senior living;i.e.,evaluationofpotential business opportunities, management agreements, etc. Optimizethehandlingofbankanddepositrelationshipsandinitiateappropriatestrategiesto enhance cash position. Maintainareliablecashflowprojectionprocessandreportingmechanismthatincludesminimum cash threshold to meet operating needs. Overseethecapitalstructureofthesenior living communitiesincludingdeterminingtheoptimalmixofdebt financing. Beanadvisorfromthefinancialperspectiveonanycontractsintowhichsenior livingmay enter. Evaluatethefinancestructureandresponsibleforcontinualimprovementoftheefficiencyand effectivenessofthegroupaswellasprovideindividualswithprofessionalandpersonalgrowth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals. Oversee and direct the finance systems that are needed to operate the senior living business unit. Maintain corporate registrations for senior living and ecessary legal work for state and federal compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor'sdegreeinfinance,accountingorbusinessadministrationrequired Tenormoreyears'progressivelyresponsibleexperienceinfinanceandaccountingrequired, preferably in a health care setting. MastersofBusinessAdministrationpreferred. CertifiedPublicAccountant(CPA)certificationpreferred.
