Overview

　　Steampunk is seeking a leader tomanage the pursuit of new business opportunitiesand support the delivery of services for our Federal Civilian clients within the HHS sector.This leader must have broad knowledge and experience in the Information Technology, Cyber and Cloud Computing Market, with a focus on Federal Civilian Agencies.

　　Contributions

　　The selected candidate will support Steampunk HHS Sector business. The individual will be responsible for growing the business through identification, sales, capture, and proposal development of opportunities reflective of the business. The Vice President – Citizen, Service, & Defense will develop and maintain strong customer relationships, help customers be successful, and grow their careers. The successful candidate will be highly experienced using their leadership skills to identify growth areas, build teams, guide programs and projects, and grow the business.

　　Broad and deep knowledge of Federal Government Information Technology requirements:

　　Legislative Requirements

　　OMB Guidance

　　Contracting and FAR Requirements

　　Experience collaborating with sales, business development, recruiting, contracts, and finance in the pursuit of new contracts/proposals

　　Experience collaborating with program managers, project managers, and clients to improve the delivery of services and create “client delight”

　　Experience in training and mentorship of project and program managers in the performance of their duties

　　Experience being responsible and accountable for the P&L of your area of responsibility

　　Relationships with Senior leadership and proven ability to identify new customers, participate in customer calls, developing white papers and presentations

　　Should have strong network of contacts and relationships with key IT Leaders and Decision Makers in government departments

　　Working knowledge of Federal contracts, procurement process and proposal development activities

　　Active participation in various industry organizations is a plus

　　Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and have strong communication skills (verbal/written)

　　15+ or more years of IT experience focused on the Sales of solutions and services in the government sector, military, or commercial sector.

　　Bachelor’s Degree preferred

　　Must be U.S. citizen

　　Must be local to DMV area
